Our approach
Urban Palm Trees takes reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect customer information and store operations. No internet service can be guaranteed to be completely secure, but we work with established service providers and review security-related concerns when identified.
Secure connection and checkout
The storefront and checkout use encrypted HTTPS connections. Checkout and payment processing are provided through Shopify and authorised payment service providers. Urban Palm Trees does not directly store full payment-card numbers.
Access controls and order review
Access to store administration and customer information is restricted to authorised use. Orders may be reviewed, held or cancelled where payment verification, suspected fraud or unusual activity requires investigation.
Service providers
We use service providers, including Shopify for ecommerce and Gelato for print-on-demand fulfilment. Each provider is responsible for the security of the systems it operates. We share only the information reasonably needed to provide the relevant service, subject to our Privacy Policy.
Your responsibility
Keep account passwords confidential, use a unique password and do not share one-time authentication codes. If you believe your account, order or payment information has been used without permission, contact us and your payment provider promptly.
Report a concern
Email info@urbanpalmtrees.com with the subject “Security concern”. Do not send full card details or passwords by email.
